What A Wonderful World
I see ruined cities, limbless children too,
Where are their parents? No one has a clue.
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.
I see men in green, fighting the fight,
Buildings enflamed, light up the night.
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.
The bombs from Lockheed Martin, falling from the sky
The blood spattered faces, of people walking by.
I see friends clinging to friends, welled up with tears,
Unable to talk – too overcome with fear.
I hear babies crying, from freshly bombed homes,
They’ll feel more pain than I’ve ever known.
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world,
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world.
